Hello friends! Today I’m excited because I have a brand new blog to share with you guys and I can’t wait to dive right into it! Bouquet recipes! I’m sure some of you have seen these floating around in the world of wedding blogs.
And well, I don’t know about you, but I for one have always been inspired these. I love that you can easily see what the floral designer used in their creation and I think it’s really fun to delve into the process a bit when it comes to event design.
With every bouquet we make, we try to approach it like a new piece of art. This one was based on what is trending in the wedding world so we thought specifically about color, texture, and natural, foraged elements. Nandina, the orange berries and crisp greens, and the lichen (the beige mushroom-looking texture) was dipped in gold paint just to give it a fun edge.”
Coral has been such a huge color for the past several seasons and Coral Charm Peonies might be the main reason. They’re the kind of flower you just want to use as much as you can.
So there you have it! Part one in this gorgeous new blog of mine! I really do hope that you enjoyed taking a closer look at the design process and the how-to behind the final look. I know that as a designer and a flower-loving gal myself, I personally find it really helpful when I’m able to see the individual components broken down like this.
